Fire prevention is part of the Fire Marshal's office. The Fire Marshal's office is in charge of public education, scheduling inspections for fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems and for granting certificates of occupation. The Fire Marshal's office is also able to provide control burn permits if applicable.
